FAQs
We've put together the most frequently asked questions to give you more information about our products. If you have a question that you can't find the answer to, please contact us and we'll be happy to help you.
Will this work for me?
I'm missing a few teeth. Will this work for me?
Yes, the Ultimate Denture Kit has everything you need to make a partial denture. Since the false teeth are pre-formed on a wire, you can easily select the teeth you need and remove any excess. We offer both upper and lower sets of teeth for you to choose from.
I haven't got any teeth at all. Will this work for me?
Yes, the Ultimate Denture Kit has everything you need to make a full denture. The DIY process is the same whether you have teeth or not.
When taking a dental impression, you'll still want to make a "biting down" motion on the putty in the tray, and you don't need teeth to do so.
I need both upper teeth and lower teeth. What should I order?
The Ultimate Denture Kit will cover both the upper and lower mouth – simply select your dental tray size, then change the location required to "upper and lower mouth".
I have a chipped or broken tooth. Will this work for me?
Our kits are designed as a solution for missing teeth. The denture sits on top of the gums, so unfortunately it isn't compatible with chipped or broken teeth.
How does it work?
How does this compare against professional dentures?
Our kits are not intended to permanently replace professional dentures. They are designed as a temporary cosmetic solution for people who cannot access dentures or implants.
With that being said, we provide professional-grade materials with long-lasting durability. If you struggle to afford dentures, our kits may be exactly what you're looking for in the interim!
How does the denture stay in place?
During the DIY process, you will shape the gum material to sit perfectly in your mouth. The plate (which is the part of the denture that covers the palate) creates stability and suction for the denture to stay in place. If you require extra staying power, simply apply denture adhesive.
How durable are the false teeth? Can I eat with them?
Yes! After applying denture adhesive, you can eat and drink (within reason). Soft foods are typically fine, though we recommend avoiding hard foods, such as biting into an apple.
Will the gum material melt when I drink something hot?
The gum material begins to soften when it's continuously submerged in 60+°C temperatures, which is hot enough to burn the tongue. As such, the majority of people find that it easily withstands food and drink to their preferences.
How long do these dentures last?
The dentures can last for years when taken care of, as the false teeth are made from acrylic resin and the gum material is made from plastic. For best results, we'd suggest brushing and cleaning the dentures every day.
How easy is this?
I have no experience. Is this difficult to do?
Our kits are designed to be easy to use, and require no previous knowledge or experience. Every kit comes with full step-by-step guidelines, which we have included on our website along with a video tutorial.
The most challenging step is shaping the gums to be the perfect fit. However, the premium gum material can be reshaped as many times as you like. Don't be disappointed if the fit isn't perfect the first time – you can keep reheating and adjusting until it is.
Do you have a video tutorial?
Yes! We've uploaded a YouTube video demonstrating how to make a partial denture using the Ultimate Denture Kit.
Can you make the denture for me if I send you the mould?
We do not make dentures for customers – our kits empower customers to do it themselves. We do provide all of the materials needed for you to make your own dentures at home, along with step-by-step guidelines on the entire process.

What size dental tray should I order?
If you're unsure about which dental tray size to choose, we suggest using height as a guideline, as it's often correlated with jaw size. Try size small if you're 5'4" or under, size medium if you're 5'5" to 5'11", or size large if you're 6'0" or taller.
Alternatively, we do offer the dental trays separately here. Some customers prefer to add an extra tray to their kit to ensure the correct size, e.g. by ordering a small kit and adding a separate medium tray.
How can you tell what size I need based on my height?
We suggest using height as a guideline if you're unsure about which dental tray size to choose. This is because height is often correlated with jaw size.
However, this isn't a hard and fast rule that works for everyone. You may need to tailor our guidelines to your individual circumstances – for example, by sizing up if you have a larger jaw.
Are there different sizes of false teeth?
Yes, we offer 3 sizes of teeth – the measurements are available on our website here.
We'll include size medium teeth in your kit by default. If you'd prefer a different size, feel free to leave a note at checkout and we'll do our best to fulfill your request.
What colour are the false teeth? Can I order a different colour?
Currently, our kits include false teeth in shade A2 as standard. This is an off-white colour that looks natural for many people – please see this chart for reference.
At the moment, we don't carry other shades, but may expand our range if there's interest. If there is a specific shade you'd like to request, feel free to contact us.
Do I need to make the teeth?
No, you don't need to make the teeth – they will arrive pre-made and ready for use.
Can the dental putty be softened once it has set?
Unfortunately the dental putty cannot be softened again once it has set. However, we do offer additional putty separately – it's available on our website here.
